Subject: [FP-Adv] Adding to, commenting on & correcting online data

Hi,
I wonder if anybody out there has any experience with this:
We will soon offer a few pages with transcribed census data on a surname site.
Part of this comes in table format. I have started experimenting with some of
the options mailmerge offers to add data to that page - for instance posting new
records or changes to a specific page. People would be given the chance to
review their additions before actually posting.
People will also be able to add their own website links to our page
interactively.
What I don't really know is how to allow people to delete/edit what they have
added. As far as I know, there's no way to do this easily if at all. Linking
such additions to other information already on our site will probably be
something for us to accomplish manually? Do I have to change ISP in order to
implement an interactive database solution, e.g. using MySql ?
Any ideas on this?
Tilman
