Konrad Werner von Hattstatt was a Knight in the Alsace/Loraine area of what is today
Hattstatt --France This was in the 1333 to 1400era.. I am looking for anyone who may be tracing his descendants. I need to know if my lineage connects to this Knight's line as I believe it must. The big problem I am having is that from the last ancestor I have found in Germany---Johann Heinrich Hattstatt-- near the end of the 1600's--records of his parents were burned in a fire that took about 10 years of data with it. So I am hopeing to try to work from this Knight down to a connection to my Johann. Can anyone help me with this search? I would lbe most grateful. I do know that a few generatons from Konrad have been traced and some of his family went to Switzerland and then perhaps to Germany. I also need to know if Konrad was a "Templar Knight" I am trying to research some of these Templars. Thank you for your consideration. Sincerely; Jo Ann Hatstat
