Goodday all. I've not subscribed to the list very long & wonder if
the Freind,Frend Friend ect. name origin has been discussed--I'm
wondering if was originally German--My Irish Steep(Steibe ect. )
family came in a large group from the Palitinate area of Germany
circa1707 & many settled in Ireland,England & what is now the U.S.
-Always interested in finding more on family origins. "Have a great
