Hi. I hAVE USED A LAPTOP FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS FOR MY GENEALOGY & RECENTLY GOT A DESK TOP. i ALWAYS BACKED MY LAPTOP UP ON A zIP dRIVE





Hello:

I have used a lap top exclusively for me genealogy for about 4 years & recently purchased a desk top. I always backed my FTM data up on a zipt drive so it was just a matter of hooking the zip drive up to my desk top & copying the whole thing. FTM, genealogy data & "Old uncle Tom Cobley & All"! (that is for the not so young!) I plan to go to Britain next year & take my lap top with me.
