Victorian GUM Inc has a similar profile to this list

Here are respective numbers between W98 (all variants) and
XP

You may have to copy and past the info into a speadsheet as
it will be all over the place on an email and maybe
difficult to see?

In essence in May 2004
XP 69
98 302

May 2005
XP 148
98 270

Nov 2005
XP 253
98 210

About parity

By Feb 2007
XP 300
98 124

The figures lag as they are only reported (by some) during
annual sub renewal, but it provides I think a not
unexepected picture.

No doubt Vista will start popping up on the radar soon?

I guess folk have a choice

Stay with W98 and the current programs you use, or upgrade
to at least XP to use the newer programs eg Adobe Reader 7
or above will only work in XP or above

Adobe Reader 6 is the highest version that is supported in W
98

But that applies to most things like cars and electronics??
