Tim, two questions: Did you open a Gedcom or an FTW file in 2008? Did you
get an error log when you opened your file? The error log may contain some
clues as to why you didn't get all your individuals.

Hmmmm.
Just did the download which went smooth enough, if a bit long. Copied
my main file to it. It opened the file fine but says there are only
1800+ individuals in it. File has 3600+ in it. Whats up with that? Same
with marriages etc. Does not state the real number but I am not going
counting.

I love change. I also love things that are instinctual. Took me a while
to adapt to 2005 from the previous. This 2008 looks like it will take
some real adaptation, maybe evolution on my part.

Takes for ever to open from the shortcut.

I'll keep fooling with it.
