Yes, there IS a progranm from FTM that can be incorporated on CD for
people that do not have FTM. It is a ' Family Archive Viewer' provided
by Genealogy.com also on a CD. Paul Burchfield of FTM recommended this.
But do NOT make the mistake of 'INSTALLING' it over your own FTM even
though autorun asks if you have a FTM version older than the viewer. I
did. The INSTALLATION did cause a horrible mess to MY FTM , CANCEL this
Installation ! Putting the viewer in its own folder on a CD is quite ok.

At one time there was a read only version of FTM that you could put
on a CD with a copy of your file. Then others could view everything
you have using FTM. Maybe someone else could confirm or direct you
to a knowledge base article.
