I sent my prior message accidentally - didn't mean to duplicate Ole's comments.

While it's certainly possible that your printer doesn't really
duplex,and Word is indeed giving you a workaround, before you give
up, explore every clickable box and tab in the Print Setup -- Options
screen. For my Epson, it's not on the general tab, it's under <Page
Layout> tab, and called "Double-sided printing".

Or - as a last resort - check your printer manual or Help file <g>.

And the Kinship Report query may be solved the same way, in Printer
Options. The "Maximum width" is for cells on family trees, not for
pages - that's why it's greyed out on a report. You ought to be able
to adjust the margins and get everything to print on one page.
