Mrs. Joyce F. Fullbright
Mrs. Joyce F. Fullbright, 80, of Sloans Chapel, Okla., died Thursday, June
28, 2007, in Fort Smith. She was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Sallisaw. She was a
homemaker, a graduate of Central High School and a member of First Baptist
Church in Sallisaw. She worked at Mayo's Department Store and retired from
National Bank of Sallisaw . She also worked with her husband and son at
Jiffy Mart. "Granny," or "Aunt Joyce," as some of the family called her, was
a very caring woman who loved people and life itself. She will be dearly
missed and forever loved.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. today, July 2, 2007, at Eastside Baptist Church in
Sallisaw with burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw under the
direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.
She is survived by her husband, Gus, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law,
Judy and J.R. Bibb of Sugar Land, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Susan Fullbright
of Sallisaw; five grandchildren, Mike Fullbright and wife Leilari of
Sallisaw, Gary Fullbright of Sallisaw, Jennifer Fullbright-McLellan and
husband Chris of Fayetteville, Josh Bibb and wife Erin of Sugar Land, and
Jason Bibb of Sugar Land; six great-grandchildren; Jason, Drew, Kristen and
Matthew Fullbright of Sallisaw and Emma and Guss Isabel McLellan of
Fayetteville; one brother and sister-in-law, Leon and Judith Fitzsimmons of
Sallisaw; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Emmalene and Charles
McCormick of Sallisaw and Colene and Don Miller of Olathe, Kan.; several
nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Eula Fitzsimmons; one
son, Gus Fullbright Jr.; three sisters, Pauline Fitzsimmons, Dorothy
Woodward and Lois England; and one brother, Carney Fitzsimmons.
Pallbearers will be Mike Fullbright, Gary Fullbright, Drew Fullbright, Jason
Fullbright, Matthew Fullbright, Josh Bibb, Jason Bibb, J.R. Bibb and Chris
McLellan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sallisaw Fire Department, 115 E.
Choctaw, Sallisaw, OK 74955.
