I received the following information on this Johannes Furry from a list in my family.
In 1791 John (Johannes) Furry emigrated from Germany to the US via the port of Philadelphia. After settling in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, PA he Married Matta German. The couple had three known children and possibly a fourth:
1.John Jr, born March 10, 1795. Married Anna Marie Baker. Ten children. Died June 15 1879, age 84.
2. Susanna, born November 9, 1803. Married Frederick S Kaylor. Nine children. Died May 12, 1883, age 80.
3. Leonard, born June 15, 1806. Married Hannah Brown. Eight children. Died December 8, 1877, age 71.
4. Possibly Jacob. No record.
The family moved to New Enterprise PA about 1812 or shortly thereafter. John (Johannes) died between 1840-1843.
