It looks like the Family Discovery scam is back to its old tricks.
For anyone whose not familiar with them, they are being
investigated on numerous counts of fraud, as they charge a
subscription fee for people to use a (bogus) search engine that
provides links to genealogy-related websites, just like the FREE
search engines (Yahoo, Alta Vista, Goggle, DogPile) do. They have
been sending blanket emails to various rootsweb lists, so the
message can get to those people subscribed to that list.

The message below was sent through one of my lists that is
currently discussing the Family Discovery scam...
