Hi all

I am a recent subsciber to this mailing list and am anxious to offer my
services as a Transcriber.

1. Should I join a Syndicate? If so, WHO WANTS SOME HELP? Tell me what to
do and I will do my best to get it done.

2. Should I be my own Syndicate? Should I go to Brighton library and copy a
single year one event, having written to Steve Lloyd for permission, of
course or should I purchase a set of fiche from the ONS. If I do this,
should I buy a Fiche reader for home or take it to my local Family History
Library and take copies of each page? Only I can answer these questions
but please can someone tell me WHAT YEAR DO I GO FOR? Are there any free
allocations?

3. Should I start a Syndicate? At the moment, I do not want the
responsibility.

Please, I want to help in this worthwhile project but I need a gentle push
to get started.

By the way I am researching my maiden name GREEN in Cheshire and
Shropshire.
