I have recently registered with FreeBMD - No U2NTUX
I think the concept is great.
However, I do have a problem.
I am retired, have plenty of spare time, have unlimited access to
records and am very keen to get going.
BUT
In common with many family historians my computer is a tool used for
storing the information I collect, which does not necessarily make me a
computer expert and I just cannot understand the instructions for
submitting the information I collet to you.
Take for instance paragraph 2 in the 'Submission Formats'link. What does
it mean?
When I try to submit information I am confronted with 'Upload new file'.
What new file?
I notice that in the database import page that 60 persons, including
myself , have submitted nothing. Could it be that they are baffled too?
Is it possible to have a set of instructions for computer innocents like
me?
