Dear All,

In the excitement of the moment, we forgot to formally announce
our two bits of very-good-news.

We now have a new machine - a new server. For those interested
in the technical specification, RootsWeb have provided a dual
Pentium III/500 with 1 GB RAM and 8x18 GB of RAID hard disk, as
well as access to 45 Mb/s of bandwidth. Thankyou Rootsweb! This
should remove the overload problem for FreeBMD and give plenty of
room for expansion.

Our other piece of news is that, as of the first of February, we have
over one million entries in the database!

Thank you everyone who has submitted their entries and
transcribed for FreeBMD.
