Hi,

RootsWeb's mailing lists will not distribute viruses. The lists
basically turf out email containing binary code that would be a virus.

What you can see is a text attachment, generally MIME, and text
attachments cannot be a virus.

If anyone would like a fuller explanation, email me directly and I
will happily answer questions, but there is no need for me to clutter
up the list.

Bottom line: no viruses or worms will make it through mailing lists
to subscribers.
