It occurs to me, having learnt the hard way some time ago, that if new
transcribers are using a spreadsheet, as I do, the importance of saving the
file to a ' comma separated value ' csv file is essential before uploading.
When doing the dummies guide please do not forget that not everyone uses
SpeedBMD, personally I find using Excel that I can knock out a 40 entry page
in a few minutes and I'm a one finger typist.
Mind you I do cheat a little, I mentally convert the Roman to Arabic which
much quicker to enter.
I also find that entering in columns is much quicker than entering in lines,
particularly with Excel where you can use the 'fill' command with repeat
names.
