What a great boon this site will be!
I live in a small country town in Australia, with the nearest access to the St.
Catherine's House Index about a two and a half hour drive away. Internet access
is much easier.
However, how are the marriage records meant to be read? If an entry is listed on
one page, does that mean that the spouse is also on that page?
The case in point is:-
Peter Flack, married September quarter, 1854, Mildenhall, Suffolk 4a 664
The four names listed on that page, in order, are:-
John Bennett
Mary Ann Dixon
Peter Flack
Ann Mackender
Information I have been given is that his wife's name was Mary Ann Dennis.
Okay, now are the listed names supposed to represent married couples?
If so, Peter Flack's wife would appear to be Ann Mackender.
But then, I may have the wrong Peter Flack, although the date and place seem to
fit.
Anyway, keep up the good work! I'd help if I wasn't so far away.
