Hi Diana

Yep, that's how I do mine too.

I transcribe with the image viewed at around 60%, and SpeedBMD at the
bottom of the screen. That gives about 18 or 19 lines worth before
the image needs scrolling. (Yes, I do it line by line.)

Then after finishing the page, I open the .sca file in WordPad,
resize the scan to about 55% and view them side by side. Very easy
then to see if I've missed a line as well as correct the districts.

All depends on size and resolution of screen of course.

I don't add too many districts to the user file in SpeedBMD cos I
think it'd actually slow typing down by having all the "standard"
ones plus lots of my own varioations. I'm used to the SpeedBMD
"standards" so it's always the same ones that need tweaking to match
reality.
