Subject: MacBMD - Help, my data has disappeared!!

I have just spent all afternoon keying my first page--several hours
work--into MacBMD. I got a message saying memory was low, then the MacBMD
application gave an error message and suddenly quit. Upon reopening my data
file, it was completely empty!! I had been saving after every few names so
where's my data? The file size shows zero k. My son, who is a Mac expert,
has used all his tricks but there appears to be no temp file or otherwise
to recover.

Any suggestions out there? I am completely frustrated by this and not too
keen on continuing if this could happen again. I don't understand how all
the data in a file that has been saved could suddenly disappear and be
unrecoverable.
