Curious! I usually just put in a surname (the ones I'm interested in are
rare) and I get my matches without needing to specify anything except a
surname.

I tried it earlier tonight after the original email (with trevains) and it
dutifully replied with the same 2 entries I received last time someone had
problems with accessing the database and I had a quick look-see.

As someone with a software background, my first reaction when software
doesn't work is stereotypical - try it again!

Maybe it'll work if there was just a temporary glitch (some sort of
initialisation or timing problem etc).

On the other hand, maybe there's more to the learning curve about how many
fields need to be filled in.
