This seems to be getting more common now we actually have a database worth
searching. Is there going to be some protocol set up for reporting mistakes
when the transcribers don't want to be correct their mistakes? It takes two
minutes to write back saying "The scan is unclear so I am unable to correct
it" or words to that effect. I too have a entry that needs correcting, but
repeated efforts to contact the transcriber have been met with deathly
silence!
I have copied this query to the discuss list, as I expect it will create a
number of responses.
