Isn't it the "." that is the problem? I thought FreeBMD didn't like
filenames with a dot and an extension. I have always gone directly to the
File Management page and placed a name in the filename box that didn't have
the dot and extension. In your case, name the file 1889D40130 and do it
directly, not via WinBMD.

Hope this helps.

Subject: no access to site

I tried to upload using WinBMD all day yesterday and today but it just times
out without uploading. Tried accessing the main site with IE and got
through today, (eventually). I am on Freeserve Broadband.

However when I tried to upload I got the error message:
Bad File Name
The file name () must consist of only letters, numbers and underscores.
The file I was trying to send was selected by browsing:

C:\Program Files\WinBMD\Output\1889D40130.BMD

What now? And how do I get the next tiff file?
