Hi Evan.
TWYS still applies. Insert the name , as far as you can read it, at the
appropriate point. NEVER assume anything. If it is an addition you will be
correct. If it is a correction then the 'powers that be' will sort it out
(Tht's what they're there for!!)

Marriages March Quarter 1846 -
There is an entry under the surname Robinson thus 1- Elizabeth Thursk 24 569
At the foot of the page has been added - 1- ELIZABETH Thirsk 24 5[56]9
(the surname run is still Robinson). Middle numeral is not clear. Am I to
assume it's a 6 and the entry at the foot is simply a correction of Thursk
to Thirsk? If so, what do I do?
