I've checked with Alan and he was verifying a partially completed
transcription so the program was working correctly. You can always verify
partial transcriptions but obviously you can't verify entries from the
second and third column if you haven't typed them in yet. I always used to
transcribe one column, then verify it, then transcribe the next column and
so on. As you type in more entries the program will handle it although the
guess it makes of which entry is at the top of column 2 or 3 may be less
accurate in a partially transcribed file.
