I would tend to agree that it is likely that 1844B2-B-0402 is indeed a blank
page, and have therefore uploaded a new image file
1844B2-B-0402-blank.jpg
that contains the following text
"
This page is not expected to contain any data.

The page is provided to ensure that FreeBMD
filenames remain in line with the original index page
numbers.

This page does not need to be transcribed.
"

This file should become visable tomorrow, at which time I will arrange to
remove the current
1844B2-B-0402-missing.jpg
file.

One of my transcribers has written:

When downloading the latest batch of scans, I noticed a remark to the effect
that scan 1844B2-B-0402 was listed as 'missing jpg'.

Earlier today, whilst in the local town centre, I took the opportunity to
call in at the library and look at the relevant microfilm. Its not there.
Now this is film not fiche, so it is not lost. When I looked at the adjacent
pages, the first and last names on film 0401 were:

Brooks - John and Brooks - Matilda respectively.

The first and last names on page 0403 were:

Brooks - Patience and Brookeshaw - Edward Hugh respectively.

So, going by the above sequence of names, page 0402 would have to fit some
45 first-names between Brooks Matilda and Brooks Patience. Consequently,
it seems possible that someone made an error regarding the sequence
numbering and there is no page 0402.

Just thought that you might like to know.

I am sure Les is correct, could some pleas make an adjustment to the page?
