Hello David

I have found that I can add, so far, unlimited variations on the canonical
list to my pick list and they remain. In the case of Marylebone and Pancras
they remain for a short period, it may even be a day or two, but then they
disappear. I am having the same experience as Bill, the appropriate version
to the year I am transcribing does not appear from time to time.
Best wishes to all
Sheila

No, I don't believe it does.

WinBMD uses the canonical list of district names as its "starter set" to
which
transcribers should add as they discover new variants.

Clearly the name used in the indexes doesn't always match the canonical
name,
and St Marylebone is far from unusual in this, but it would be impractical
to
have the picklist pre-populated with the names that are actually found in
each
quarter.

If Marylebone appears after 1902, enter it as such. The system will
automatically link the transcription to St Marylebone.
