Hi John

The only way I have been able to continue using WinBMD in Vista was to
install and run with User Account Control turned on. Once I'd started again
with a fresh install this way (after clearing out all old WinBMD files) it
works fine but UAC to me, is a nuisance I could do without so am hoping for
a 'fix' soon.
(As a gardener, I appreciate your analogy!)
Linda

Dear Dave,

Well that has given me hope, Ian and I have been trying to clear my
"Run-time error '429': ActiveX component can't create object" problem
associated WinBMD for weeks without avail. If you have found a way around
this I should be very grateful for a guide to rid myself of this impediment
so that I feel that once again I am a fully equipped coordinator. Being
without WinBMD I feel like a gardener without a spade!

Hopefully John
