Good idea Keith, but how do you cut & paste in WinBMD

The easiest way is to type an apostrophe in the mother maiden name field,
then cut and paste it into the page column.

Subject: Apostrophe

I have just begun transcribing and am working on typed scans of 1932
births. On several pages I note there are handwritten additions where
under the page number the note says "see Dec' 34" (or some
other
year.) WinBMD will not allow me to type the apostrophe after the D.
How to handle this, please?
Thanks for your help.
Yvonne
