This is what I'm wondering, whether the line should be entered twice.
Doesn't TKB 6(p) say the brackets should be ignored and the line typed
as one, as my volunteer has done? I'm not sure it would apply in this
sort of situation, though; in the TKB example what was being bracketed
together was a name and title, which is rather different.
