Hi Ian
I would endorse Charles' plea for a list in the help text of recognised key
combos. I'd also like to plead for the image tools to allow one to
manipulate background and text colours on JPEGS.I remember asking you about
this before (about winBMD4, I believe!), as I could not use these options
and you saying they would only work on tif(f)s, but whenever I download a
scan it is a JPEG and some would be a lot easier to read if I could alter
background and text colours. Please? Pretty please?

Subject: Some more suggestions for WinBMD improvment
WinBMD needs some more options for moving around in a file. For
example, I often want to jump to the last line of a file. The only way
I've found to get there is to hit PageDown a bunch of times, or hold the
key down until it repeats, and eventually get there. Many Windows
programs (Microsoft Word, most web browsers, etc.) use Ctrl-End to jump
to the end of a file and Ctrl-Home to jump to the beginning. WinBMD
currently treats Ctrl-End and Ctrl-Home the same as End and Home by
themselves.
Also, is there a way to jump to a specific line number? That would be
useful. Maybe a key combination like Ctrl-G (for Go) could pop up a
little box where you could type a line number and hit Enter.
It would be handy if there was a list in the Help text of all the
shortcut key combinations that WinBMD recognizes.
