Thanks for passing on my Web Tips when they are useful. With my dad
terminally ill I can't always check everyday to help people out. It is
easier pointing to something already written rather than retyping it
everytime. Questions tend to repeat which is ok they join at different
times.

One note below. Once you get things grayed out you will realize that
FrontPage's guestbook, search engine etc. do not work on a Unix box. But I
show on my Web Tips how to use free Site Search Engines and Rootsweb
recently got theirs working that I need to checkout.

You have to set FrontPage to not use the extensions.

Follow Ken Rury's advice under "Set FrontPage to only show...." at

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~krury/wfrontpage.htm

Afterwards. save the page again and upload again. If it still doesn't
work, try "Add WorldConnect Search" at

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~krury/Web%20Tips.htm
