I've assembled a set of photo albums and uploaded them to my FreePages
at
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ejimkyle/ but have one small
problem (which might be better put to the advanced list): I copied a bit
of
JavaScript that works quite nicely on my commercial web site at
www.jimkyle.com to automatically display the date and time the page was
last modified, but here on RootsWeb it's displaying a date of Wednesday,
December 31, 1969 instead of the correct date of Sunday, March 26, 2000!
Is there something else I should use instead of my JavaScript snippet,
or
should I just type in the change date by hand? When I was doing that on
the
commercial site, I would frequently forget to change the date -- which
is
why I began using the script snippet...
By the way, comments on the site layout are invited. While I've been
doing
this sort of thing for years, I always find that feedback is extremely
helpful!
