Actually, I didn't get that particular error messages until this morning,
after Freepages was back up. But, just in case something had change, I've
tried again, and it still doesn't work.
Both programs that I am attempting the upload with are completely
preconfigured from previous uploads, with the proper password and all,
unchanged since the last time that I successfully uploaded material.
I am successfully logged on to freepages, but the files do not transfer,
though I do get a message on one of the programs that freepages received
4189 bytes and transfer suceeded each time that I try to transfer a
file. It's the same message no matter what file I try to transfer, with
the same number of bytes... and none of the files are that small.
Also, with the same program, FTP Client for Windows, (a "simple" 7 year old
program), I can download files from freepages just fine, so the program is
working. I've got a couple of other programs that I can use, but, with two
that work just fine for ftp to other servers, but not this one, I don't
think the problem is on my end.
