Julie Case gave me another idea: Cyndislist. Cyndi has a form for
submitting new links, and a list for new links, too. So it sounds
worthwhile!

Besides Cyndislist and the other Rootsweb sites that have been
mentioned, I think the most worthwhile place to 'submit' your site URL
is other related sites that you find on Google and other large search
engines. Links TO your site are what gets it ranked highly in the search
engines, and that is the way most people will find your site.
