Katheryn, if I understand your question correctly, you want to create
separate sections of your genealogy website? If so, you want the magic
of sub-directories. I have a number of little surnames, and don't want
to intermingle them, either. So I have, for instance

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~valorie/baysinger/
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~valorie/mcbee/
etc. All of these sections are truly "under construction", and some
don't even have their own index.html page, yet. But people can still go
to the directory and click on the file they want to see. Of course, if I
had images too, it could get pretty confusing. Once I get more than 4 or
5 pages in a sub-directory, I stop and make an index page. You could
even make a sub-sub-directory, if necessary -- for instance, all the
Triplett Marriage Records, all the Triplett Census records, etc. (these
don't exist)

Your only limit is your imagination!
Have fun,
