I have a genealogy website I have created using Dreamweaver. I am having a
problem uploading it onto my new Freepages webspace. When entering the info
for the remote site in Dreamweaver, it asks for the FTP Host, the Host
Directory, my userID, and my password. I know my userID and password, and
have entered users.freepages.rootsweb.com for the FTP host. However I'm not
sure what to enter for the Host Directory. First I tried putting Automatic
Detect as directed in a help page on Rootsweb, but that did not work. I
also have tried http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knorthup/, and
//freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~knorthup/. For all of above Dreamweaver
said it could not open that file or directory because it did not exist. I
tried looking in the Freepages archives, but did not find the answer as to
what to enter as being the Host Directory so that I can upload my site.

If anyone else uses Dreamweaver I would appreciate some suggestions.
