Good points & thanks you very much Elsi and Pat for your prompt help! You
were right: I did originally upload query.txt using Fileman. However...
I tried both suggestions and neither solved the problem.
First I used Fileman to paste the template file (query.txt) which it saved
as query.html and I had to rename back to query.txt and still got the same
results when I tried it.
Then I used FTPCommander 5.80 (A freeware ftp client program) to upload
query.txt and still it still produces the same result.
