There are several tuts on the web that teach you how to do it. I use WS_FTP
LE (Light Edition - it's free!). Here is the URL for a tut for it. You can
download it from the page:

Read the info here and then click on the link for the LE interactive tut.

There are dozens of others. Just do a search for "ws ftp tutorial" (without
the quotation marks) and you'll find them.

FTPing is really easy once you get the hang of it.
