I would be interested in learning about your
javascript to hide your email address from address
harvesters. I had my clickable email address on my
site for years but had to substitute it with an image
of my email address because I was being innundated
with 100s of spam daily. Needless to say, I also had
to change my email address--a very big pain in the
behind!

Hi Jeanne!
You are welcome to use an HTML Programming Aid that I maintain at
http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~moorecrossing/freepages-help/html_programming_aid/
Just update the appropriate form box with your information, 'Select
All', and Copy the contents of that form box. Then paste the copied
code into your HTML.
Since first using that code over a year ago, I've not been bothered by
spam to the email address I use for my three web spaces (my home
computer, FreePages, and FeaturePrice). I've also coded my kids' names
and many links to their activities in javascript to prevent that data
from innocently being indexed by Google.
Now, some people do switch off all javascript rendering on their
computers--that's their call. But personally I think that letting a
reputable, up-to-date antivirus and firewall program from
Norton/McAfee/etc instead manage my equipment is a better alternative.
I also suggest you try out the row of buttons on my main FreePages
webpage at http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~moorecrossing ... there are
quite a few goodies hidden there (if you want to see the skeletons in
my closet, check out my "gravestones" under FP-Help, and you may also
notice that my Willingham and Terry family genealogies at WorldConnect
are not quite "black and white").

"Home" Page: http://www.moorecrossing.com ... if the page is a little
slow in loading, it's probably searching for extra-terrestial
intelligence, better known as SETI. And yes, those are "Don't Try This
at FreePages" video links on that page.
