Hello List

A very long time ago Ellsi or Robin told me that I could have a side panel of
links on all my pages which could b easily updated by using the code
<.table border="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0">
<.tr>
<.td width="10%" valign="top" align="left"><.!--#include
file="border.txt" -->
</td>
<.td width="90%" valign="middle" align="center">............

which has worked well from my pages at:
<A HREF="http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~betton/Betton/index.htm">http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~betton/Betton/index.htm</A>;

All my pages are placed directly in just one folder, and as there are now so
many of them they are beginning to get untidy and difficult to manage, so I
thought of creating some subdirectories to make things tidier.

I can't get the <.!--#include file= to work in my subdirectories.

I have tried <.!--#include file="../border.txt" -->
and I have tried
<.!--#include
file=".http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~betton/Bettonborder.txt"; --> but both cause an error.

Does an #include file have to be in the same subdirectory as the file it is
to be included into or is there another code for including files from other
folders?

Thanks

BB
