Subject: [FreeHelp] Adobe Acrobat...?

Hello,

On my site, I display lots of source material and transcribed
documents. Recently I have had a problem turn up a couple of times and
wonder if anyone here can offer some advice on how to go on.

I am receiving Adobe Acrobat documents. I have the reader installed on my
computer, so I can look at them, but I can't put them online (Not a
supported format at Rootsweb, I imagine--which is not a complaint, as I
LOVE Rootsweb) and I can't seem to save them in any other format (I'm not
all that computer-literate, so if there is a way to do so and then upload
them tot he site, I'd love to know it!).

What are my options? I've asked one person to send me the files in another
format, but she never has. I think its a matter of convenience. However,
I would like to make as many MCK documents and images available as
possible, you know, so don't want to bug her or be what she might concieve
as demanding.

Is there some utility I can download to transfer Adobe Acrobat files into
jpeg or gif or some other form of usable file?

Is there another way of getting around this?

Thanks so very, very much!!
