If using the blogger that Elsi mentioned, can you use File Manager or is it FTP only? If so, what would the "Publish" be? Would you simply put file manager or what? This looks like something that I might be interested in.

I keep a copy of my bookmarks in my Yahoo account.
And, you can simply upload your entire bookmark file.
That means you don't have to type them in or even
visit the sites to get the bookmarks set up. I've
found that this is an excellent way to back-up my
bookmarks.

Yes . . . I have hosted my blog in my RootsWeb space.
I use blogger.com and then publish to my RootsWeb
space. Let me quickly set up a blog I wouldn't mind
folks looking at & I'll send the instructions on how
to do the uploading through Blogger.

OK -- I just went & set up the blog. See it at
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~elsi/blog/
Of course, I'm keeping this blog focused on
genealogical content in keeping with my RootsWeb
account.
