I learned a lot from a site called HTML Goodies, they have easy and short
tutorials. http://www.htmlgoodies.com/ There are plenty of sites with html
and css tutorials on them.

My advice is that you learn some basic html. It's not that hard, and you get
control over your page. People trying to use html editors are constantly
writing to this list with problems.

All the FREEWARE I used to create my sites is listed on this page:

And my site building advice is on this page:

Subject: [FreeHelp] software and tutorials

I am a beginner with a Gateway computer and need a tutorial for html. Can
you refer me to some websites please?

Also, the lxla program WebEasy that Lisa wrote about appeals to me, even
though I would like to learn how to write html eventually. I'm wanting to
expedite the process of getting my pages up and running which perhaps
WebEasy
would
help me do. Any advice?
Marlene
