Hi,
When I first created my website I used geocities.com, My space was limited
and the bandwidth was limited by use in a 24 period. This means if I got to
many visitors or did to much editing of my site it would not be viewable
from the internet.. my address/url showed a 404 message not found... In 2
years of use I got 2,000 plus hits (visits) after I rebuilt my site at
freepages in almost 1 &1/2 years, Visits to my site are over 24,000...
Compare the difference..

The ads being at the top and bottom of our pages is how these wonderful FREE
sites are available to us... And by the way it doesn't hurt to click on them
once in a while to help produce reveniue for these Free sites...

As far as the the link to the reports goes... I went there.. I read the
reports.. What hog wash... First READ the membership forms for
ancestry.com.. it states you must call so many days before renual date for
cancelling a membership.. If the person did not comply and let that date
slip by that is not ancestry.com's fault... I have notified Staff of this
site and hope to see rebutals by ancestry.com there soon...

As far as the UK Public Records Office, you would have to ask them... They
may not... you might have to use a paysite to put your information on... to
link with them... The problem with a pay site is that if you don't pay you
lose your site... Here even if you die (God forbid) your website stays
active for as long as rootsweb stays online as a provider... Hopefully for
ever...

Just my comments to your questions...

Nelda
