An HTML form is a way of getting information/data from your website
visitor. Once the information has been put into the form, something has to
happen to it. MailMerge will e-mail the data to you. Or, you can tell
MailMerge to write the data to a file in your web account.

"outputting" -- writing the data
"the form input" -- the data typed into the form
