I think the issue of "storing" is referred to data/photos that are
uploaded to your account site "but" are not used and displayed on a web
site and or subsequent page(s) that you have created on your web site
... i.e. they are just setting there, and not being used :/
in regards to military photos ... I myself, was wanting to create a page
on my site to honor and bring recognition to my extended family members
who are over in Afghanistan and Iraq ... but several members objected
[most not ever closely related to the individual(s)] ... reason being
"security" due to the knuck-heads that we are dealing with over there
... they have shown that they are a bit more computer sophisticated than
the average user :( us posting a picture with a name and rank, would
appear to position them in harms way and possible make them a target :(
we don't want to spread paranoia, but from what little we hear from over
there now and then ... this was cause enough for me to scraped my
project for the time being ...
now someone has brought up the issue of "copyright" AGAIN this time in
regards to photo's ... can we ever get off the CR word :/
There are a number of sites that I have visited, and one might be
surprised at how many "Olen Mills" photos are being displayed :) yep
they are, you got it "copyrighted" ... doesn't matter how much you paid
for that photo, O M still hold the copyright :/ a word to the wise,
might I suggest that you might want to crop those photos so that it
doesn't look so obvious :)
also one other thing about current photos of the grand-babies and such
... be sure that your site doesn't share too much info as to where the
child lives ... with the perverts of our day and age one can not be too
safe ...
