Need some help here. I use FrontPage. (I know what some of you think about
that, but that's not the point here.) I use tables to build my pages.

I wasn't having the margin problem, but there was no doctype declaration
built on my pages, and it's only recently I even knew it should be there.
You can see my entry page as listed below my signature.

I made a copy of my entry page and went to the suggested address and copied
the doctype statement into my HTML. Viewing in FrontPage, nothing changed.
However, when I viewed in IE and when I uploaded, it centers everything on
the page - and I mean everything. Here's a copy to view with the doctype
added in and no other changes made to my coding -
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~zuber/index_copy.htm

Then I set the alignment of each cell and I get this, which is about what I
originally had -
http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~zuber/index_copy2.htm

Why does the HTML doctype code center everything? If I include a doctype
statement am I going to have to go to every cell in every table on every
page (I have over 100 pages) and set the cell alignment? If so, I may just
decide to ignore the doctype thing.

Have noticed pages of all experiencing margin issues seem to be lacking a
doctype element.
Go here: http://www.w3schools.com/quality/quality_elements.asp to read about
doctype.
Then go here and validate the local copy of your web page - the one on your
hard drive -
http://www.w3schools.com/site/site_validate.asp Fix everything it tells you
to and go from
there.

Forgot to append the link to the page with a left margin of only one pixel.
Here it is
