Outlook Express does treat groups of emails as attachments, however, this is
the program used by more people than all others combined, so what is
standard?
I believe OE is much more "standard" than AOL which has many faults in
handling E-mail... I am of the opinion that everyone should choose the mail
program they want to use and should learn how to use it properly..
