I'm now falling in love with Frontpage "includes" LOL

Question: If I use an include for my top "banner" area, will it take out
(delete) the headers (that I have to put in by hand on every page)? In
other words, if I switch now to an include, will it over-write the headers
(metas, title, doctype etc) I already have in the page?
