That is because the page is blank. There is nothing between the BODY
... /BODY tags.

Clickable links go where you tell them to go. If you specify the
wrong address, the link goes to the wrong page, or you get a "page
not found" error. On index.html, your HOME link goes to
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~fincher/My_Homepage_Files/Page1.html

If you want it to go somewhere else, you need to change the URL in
your A HREF tag.
